3 Days In Berlin

How beautiful is this city? It was only my second visit, but this time I had the opportunity to walk around and explore it. I was invited to a couple of shows and events for the Fashion Week there and thought I’d make the most out of this trip by exploring as much as I could.

I arrived on the 15th, late in the afternoon, and had to quickly rush to my first event with Minimum Fashion in an evening with drinks and music. Got a glimpse of their new collection and I have to admit, I found some really nice pieces. I had the opportunity to hang out with some friends and people I knew from Instagram and never had the chance to meet!

Started my second day with brunch (of course) at ‘Fine Bagels’, which has some of the tastiest bagels I’ve ever eaten. I’d suggest ‘The Goat’ for salty and ‘Butter and Jam’ for those looking for somethigng sweeter. Cathching up with good friends over great food and coffee is always a pleasure. Quick stop at Ted + Tom to check out their spec and sunglasses collection and after that, I knew I had to visit a Uniqlo store, since I never had the opportunity before and was more than surprised with the quality of their clothes, will definitely be picking up some pieces soon! The day ended with dinner at the Soho House alongside my dear Wendy from the ‘Whitebeamshop’.

On my final day, I decided to go exploring, solo! Tried to go for a mixture of touristic sites, hip neighborhoods and stores. Started at the ‘Brandernburg Gate’, walked all the way to the ‘Victory Column’ and visited the ‘Reichstag Building’ as well.

The difference between the classic and the modern architecture in Berlin is one of the city’s most unique features, I always found it so appealing!

After a quick coffee at Starbucks with a couple of friends, I went on my way to visit some stores. Paul Smith, Acne Studios, A.P.C. and Aesop were some and all lived up to the hype! Well curated spaces and great products in all of the above.

What an incredible (although kind of short) trip, can’t wait to be back! Till our next time Berlin!
